How Does the Survey Work?

As experienced boat skippers, we always view the purchase of a boat as it will be a boat that we will own ourselves.

This mean the priority things we look at are:

· Current state and level of maintenance of the boat

· Safety aspect of the boat

· Longevity of the boat over the next few years

We usually have a short discussion with the potential buyer who has decided to purchase a boat, (either new or used).

and to explain the procedures of the survey.

· Out of the water inspection

· Overall detailed inspection

· Sea trial and machinery trials

· Valuation

Then we provide a detail quotation of the work which we will do.
